Protecting My ActionScript/SWF

Hello guys,

I am tired of working hard on my flash files and having them stolen. I also have certain action script code that passes variables to PHP files that could be seen if the SWF is de-compiled and users can pass data directly which could prove disastrous. Long story short, what is the best way to protect my SWF and potentially encrypt my ActionScript or sensitive data that the swf may contain?

Thank you very much,
Antonio Acuņa

You are probably going to find most users are not going to know how to decompile a flash file. I have never had any problem with this. Normally what I do if I am really worried about certain information being disclosed, I would just tweak the URL in the ActionScript file so that only the computer can figure out where the files true location is. You could try something like this if you want to protect your flash file, but I find my method works and is well, free!!
