site loads only after a refresh (F5)

my new site is at http://lapatisseriebelge.com/index.html (you have to put the index.html or else the site will default to the old one)
my problem is that when the site loads for the 1rst time it only displays the background, i have to do a refresh (F5) in order to see the full site.
any suggestions would be deeply welcomed.

Re: site loads only after a refresh (F5)

Seems to work fine for me. But I have a really fast internet connection here. So you will have to try some one on a normal speed internet connection. It sounds like the first time the page loads it is worry's about loading other things, then the next time it loads the background. A good loading bar would fix this, if this were the problem. Which it sounds to me like that is what it is.

May I ask why you decided to use a shared library?

Re: site loads only after a refresh (F5)

cause my site was about 1 meg and took ages to load, so i searched on forums how to reduce size and i found an article wich was explaining how to do it with shared librairies (wich is not really true, the shared library loads as a stream anyway), so today i am stuck, i did a preloader but it only works with may main swf not the shared library.
Back to stage 1 again.
