action input window is missing :(

I've been using flash 5 to work on a simple game, and the past couple of weeks i've had no trouble using it... well, not this kind of trouble i mean..
I had just converted a symbol into a button earlier today, and clicked for the action window to open so I could code it,
but even tho the little 'show action' button on the bottom right corner is lit up, and the window>action selection is ticked, the window doesn't show up any more..
it worked fine this morning but not now
does anyone have any ideas about this?
i'd really rather not have to reinstall the program, but i will if i have to.

I suppose you have tried the shortcut key? (F9) Other than that I have no ideals.

woooooo! now i feel even stoopider than usual ....
seems the action window had somehow gotten up underneath the taskbar, and i had pulled it down to hide it ....thus hiding the action panel offscreen
I found it by repeatedly clicking on the 'show - hide actions ' button and saw the tip of the panel just onscreen
hehehehehe feel free to rib me about it
i have done stupider things, and probably will do even more stupid things before i am done

I have done the same thing before. That is how I learned to pull it back up after I am finished. I completely forgot about telling you to check there. But whatever.
