the value of the global variable doesn't stick! help plz

I have a problem with my global variables (boolean). Everything is alright on two timelines.
The value of the variable stays in the timeline it was set and one more timeline.
But entering the third timeline the variable is set to undefined!

What could be the problem?? And how could I solve it?

I've been struggling with this for quite a while now and would be so grateful for any suggestions!

Thanks a lot for your genorous offer! But I don't feel ready to show my work to the world just yet

I realized that I might have been unclear, I need to reach the value from not only one timeline to another but also from one scene to another.
How do I reach the value in one scene from other scenes?
The global doesn't seem to work for more than one extra scene... (someone told me it is because an evil garbage collector, but as a newbie, I don't know if that is the case).

Come on don owrry abou showing us your work we were all beginers once and really in this program we always will be there is always something new to learn. and things will always be changeing we will only look at your work from the point of view of trying to to sort out your problem and not the actual content of the file. hope you will post it. rusty

Rusty is right. But is you are not comfortable showing us your work. Then please post the code for the part you say is working. Then the code for the part you say is not working. We can mess around with it more from there. Also don't forget to use the code tag when you do this.
