I find that games are one of those things in flash that are great once you get the hag of them but take so dam long to get going and to get the idea of useing all those varibles that sometimes it can just put you off. have you guys and gals made any games in flash?

Games are so cool in flash if they are done right. It takes alott of work to learn how to build games in flash, but it can be done. As you said variables are the hardest part.

It has been a long time sense I have played any games at all. Do you have any games you are working on?

Yes i have started simple learning the blockout where you have that slider at the bottom and have to stop it from falling down the botom, next im trying to learn a bit about bit map's and games im also trying justins "classic gameing" which is also v gd i just find variables a sod lol have you tryed any games?

Well that’s the way you learn. Step by step start simple and work your way up to advanced online gaming. I actually have not made any games at all. My thing is more websites, and cartoons. But now you have me thinking, WOW you could make a bad ass game in flash. A game that could interact with the user. I would problem be really good at making a game in flash, because I love Actionscript. Most people find it a daunting task. Which I do too sometimes. When you are writing a code and it just does not do what you KNOW it is supposed to do. Then you find out that, three weeks later you left out a closing bracket. (Damn bracket) I hope to see some of your games to. Oh yeah, do you have a website, I would love to see it.

Yes games are one of those really daunting things but i think that once you got into the swing of being able to do them and knowing what variables need to go where tehn i think that you have really got it! my area to start with was more websites but i love games and thought that i would like to start learning them. One i am happy with one of my projects i will send you a link! As for my website i did have one but took it off the web for a bit because i felt it was time for an upgrade, and im putting my portfolio on that as well with examples of adverts games interfaces ect, have you got a website?

I actually hate my current website. I think it is the worst website I have ever built ever!! I am working on a new one. I will post it when I finish it.

Isent that always ther way though when you do something for yourself you are neer as satisified as if you were doing it for a client! how far along in the process are you?

About half way or so, but I keep on having problems. You know how it goes you get this really cool ideal. Then you try to implement it and of course there is some type of stupid little problem. You spend al week working on that one thing and then you find out you left out a stupid ending bracket. }

Right up until I published it.
By then it's old and tired because I spent so long looking at it already.
