Help in flash...please T__T

To begin with...i really need help...
well, i need to build some fansite for a game....
and long ago, when i play Ragnarok Online [online game], i found these sites

-http://www.ragnarokcs.com/

and now....i really-really want to know how to create such in flash [such customization]

and also, can Flash embed HTML pages?

to be honest...i'm a quite newbie in flash....so, if any of you all can help me, i really-really appreciate it

thanks in advance

Cool Re: Help in flash...please T__T

For starters, yes flash can embed into HTML pages, in fact if you change your export settings it will export the swf into the html page for you, all that leaves you to do is to upload the html page and the swf file to your server. To do this, open flash, under file, publish settings. From there you just check the html check box, and then click publish.

OK now I looked at this site here.

http://www.ragnarokcs.com/

This is a nice professorial looking website. This takes lots of work to do. But with some practice you can accomplish such a site. Start by learning flash and how the program operates. After that I would recommend buying a tutorial from this guy here.

http://www.cartoonsmart.com/

or here,

http://www.learnflash.com/

Both of these guys are great experts in macromedia and other website design products. They will have you up and going in no time. If anything download the free tutorials they offer. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Well first you have to build the characters parts in flash. I would personal build them in flash as opposed to using Photoshop or if you already have the pictures like in gif or jpeg format I would rebuild them in flash, so that you have vector art. Vector art you can animate and zoom in and it will not get pixilated. Plus file size will be smaller. If you don't know how easy it is to draw in flash I would go and look at this tutorial I recommend it. It is really easy to do. Here is the URL http://www.cartoonsmart.com/drawing_cartoons_flash.html as for tips and tricks, you learn them in these videos, and just told you the one about vector art.

Here is a .fla drag and drop file. It has kind of the thing you are looking for. It will allow you to drag a movie clip across the stage. I am thinking this would be cool to use for your character generalization as you could drag a hat across the stage then a head and so forth. Let me know if any more help is needed this is a hard subject to talk about in one post.
Attached Files
File Type: zip Drag Me.zip (11.0 KB, 29 views)
