display text description

please help. I'm just learning action script and I'm stuck.
I'm working on a photo gallery and I have some small thumbnails as buttons and with each click of the button larger version of the picture will show in the screen area (it is empty movie clip with some action script)
For each button i have

on (release) {
loadMovie ("clip1.swf", "_root.screen");
}

I want to add some picture descriptions - (title, descriptions, links to other websites etc.) I want to add it same way in the empty dynamic text area beside the picture that will display the appropriate text for each picture with the click on a buttom same way it does for pictures. can anybody help? I don't want to add text directly onto the pictures, i want something simpler that can be easily changed in the future.
