Animated Timeline in Flash

I want to create an interactive and animated timeline in flash. I want users to be able to scroll through the timeline and click buttons to show pictures or go deeper into the timeline. Does anyone know a good tutorial for that?

You could easily add links in to this menu to take you to various sections

That is similar to what I am looking for, but I dont want it to scroll constantly. I want the users to press a button to move forward or back. I will see what I can do with this one though. Thanks.

that tut is what I will use to set up my photo gallery, but I need to create an actual timeline where users can go to different dates and see events on those specific dates.
