Calling images in a banner from a folder

HI.

The flash banner on the right that you see here http://123secureit.net/ has been designed by me. It's a very simple effect where-in the boxes are placed on the second last from top layer (masked), and the rotating pictures are placed on different layers beneath that.

The client loves the effect. The only thing the client wants is that he needs the ability to replace images himself. So I need to call these images from a folder of images. May be through a XML function? Or may be something else.

Please let me know how to go about that.

I really don't have a scoobies about flash but i recall a tutorial in the newsletter that does something similar to what you are saying. Check it out here: http://creativecoding.webforumz.com/...into-flash.php.

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

I want to pull photos from a folder, not from any web page. So.... the photos will be uploaded into a folder names...say..."images", and my banner go to pull photos from this "images" folder.

That is what the above tutorial is doing... Pulling an image from a folder. Did you read it? Or just the title?
