Making Flash Introductions for your Website
Could anyone tell me how with Macromedia Flash you can make a Flash Introduction for your website or is this not possible?

Hi,
Flash intros look quite nice. But I would like to inform you about one thing. If you are designing your website for potential customers or for ecommerce then concentrate on good content as well. Because search engines do not encourage an all flash introduction. They only understand well meaning, keyword rich content. i used to have a flash intro for my drama club website, but i dumped it cause it didn't really work. Flash loading intros aren't bad, but the 1 i did was.

Flash introductions have both a good and a bad side. they are attractive and make the site look classy...but at the same time, people get annoyed when they just want to get to the content straight away but are stopped by an intro page which u may have to watch through before entering the site, not only that, but also to wait for the flash to load prior to watching it.

sometimes the flash starts when it hasn't fully loaded and stops halfway through!! but the music carries on...
