Unexpected File Format

I downloaded some files from Source Forge to make a playlist! Everything went great. :kicking:

Now I'm attempting to open the .fla file so I can change the colors scheme of the playlist itself. I'm using Macromedia Flash MX.

I'm getting an error "Unexpected File Format" so I cannot open the .fla file.:angry2:

Do I need to upgrade to a newer version of flash? (gosh I hope not since I barely use it)?

Thanks flash gurus for any help you can give me on my first flash post!

Linda,

I found this. Looks like you need Flash 6?

Linda!

PM me the file and let me see if I can save it "down" to your version.

Cheers,

Scott

Re: Unexpected File Format

Yeah...
The unexpected file format just means that that file was saved using a higher version of flash....

That's what we're here for, to turn that learning curve from a mountain into a speedbump. <wink wink>
