window floating over flashsite?
Hey I wondered if anyone knows how to open an image when I click on a thumbnail in my flashgallery. The image should open in a new window, and it should still be in the flashmovie, and it kinda floats over the page. There's an example of this effect in Diddy's site (click Diddy Pics, 2nd item in menu): http://www.diddy.com/diddy.php .
Bye! |

Re: window floating over flashsite?
I don't know how to do it with flash but there is a similar technologies called lightbox.
It's a javascript that when you click on an image it opens in a floating box over the page. You can then click left and right through all the pictures in the gallery. It's really cool. You can get it for free at: http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/ I hope you can incorporate it into your flash. |

Yep if you google for it in more detail, lightbox can be incorporated into your flash sites now...sort of. :-)
