helping with portfolio

What i'm trying to do is put a portfolio together in flash and i've got it mostly done but I have some flash & director movies I want to import into my portfolio but can't seem to make it work either They won't play or won't import at all...Can anyone help? THANKS...

So you're talking .flv files and so on? You'll need to create a video player either progressive or streaming. Streaming being the best option, progressive being the cheapest and free.

Google for Progressive Flash Player Tutorials and that'll get you started.

If that is not what you are looking for, please provide a bit more information, I am sort of assuming here.

Thanks scott I'll try this I'm new to flash but I was thinking if I could just link them to my portfolio some how? say I have a page in my portfolio with links back to each movie is that possible?

Hey, if you're new to flash I wouldn't recommend the above options. They are a bit complicated if you don't know what you are doing.

There are a bunch of free video display options out there.....including an embeddable Windows Media Player that you can just link to your videos and embed right on your page...google for that stuff and see what you come up with.
