Just want simple Background Song (.mp3) and a simple start/stop.

I did a search here but all I have been able to find is how to make a jukebox or a playlist on a website. That is cool and all, but what I want to know how to do is have a .mp3 play in the background. (The song is already uploaded to my FTP). And all I really want is a simple start/stop on the main web page that is inconspicuous.

Please help!!!!

Are you wanting to do this using flash and create start and stop buttons on the page?

Otherwise you can embed an audio file right into the html so it plays in the background...

My disclaimer - using audio in the background of a web site is a huge design no no just from a cheesy standpoint and you'll hear that from most people here in Webforumz.

But for a photography site, if done right I suppose it would be ok...

I don't think I want to embed an audio file into the background. I would like to set it up in flash so the user can hit start/stop.
