Color Changing Logo
Hey, I was told to repost this here. Looking for a hand. Thanks!
Hey, forgive me for not using the beginner forums, but I figure this can't be terribly simple. I'm building a website for a bank in Microsoft Expression and I'm putting in a logo in my header that I want to change color while the page is being viewed. Can I get a bit of help? I'm not all that... wise... when it comes to this sort of thing. -TP |

Re: Color Changing Logo
Changing color is really simple, so it shouldn't take too long.
Basically, you make an object and make it a movieclip. Now, make a key frame at some point in the timeline. Now, on that frame select the movieclip and in the properties panel, there should be a dropdown menu with the word COLOR above it. Change NONE to TINT. Change the color to your hearts desire. Now, go back to the first frame and make sure the movieclip is a different color. Now, in that litle stretch of frames, Right Click --> Add Motion Tween. Then, Control + Enter and make sure it worked! If something goes wrong or if you have any more questions, I'll be glad to help. -Madison |

Re: Color Changing Logo
OK, time for a really basic question for a newbie to flash. How do I even insert the image as an object (its a painfully bad question, i know), and how do I then change it to a movieclip?

Re: Color Changing Logo
Ok
File, import to stage, is how you would import images. And making it a movieclip. Highlight all of it and press F8, and select the movieclip bubble and press ok! Done! -Madison |

Re: Color Changing Logo
Hahaha...nice job on helping Madison. I made the mistake of not taking Linda's advise and answering the question in another area on the forum too...lol.
