Video trouble Flash8

Hi
Ive been trying for a while to get progressive video to work live using Flash 8 Pro. It appears on preview but when i try to view it live on the web its not appearing. Is it not as simple as importing through the wizard and slapping it onto the stage without action script?
Check list
1. Have Flash Player 8 installed
2. Have the correct URL path ie myvideo.flv
Maybe its a bug with the program itself. Its a trial of Flash 8 pro from the studio8 range. Has anyone else experienced the same problem. I dont want to go back to Flash mx to encode my videos as the quality is much better with Flash 8.
I might have to go down the road of re-installing my hard drive all together.

Its ok I sorted it. Turns out it was an issue with my host server. i just went into settings and enabled the flv extension on my MIIE settings. Phew It took ages to solve that one. Merry Xmas!!!!
