Contact form in Flash 8 for CD-Rom?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to create a contact form in Flash 8 for a CD-Rom. I know its possible to produce a form in flash for a website but that runs off a PHP file from a server running PHP.

Any Ideas?

Good question, I've never done this before...

I have a feeling this would be touch to accomplish - unless you tell them form to access the .php page on a specific server and send the results of the flash form there.

As long as they have an internet connection, this might work.

I guess you'll just have to give it a try, if you have a form already built like this, just burn it to a CD and try it out.

EDIT: You might have to mess with the button that submits the form a bit for this to work.

Good idea, I though it might be worth streaming Video in from a server too (not that Im sure it would work at this stage and would prob require a dedicated server to host the Video files as they are many and big) but it posses too many unknows with too little time for testing.

Looks like it might have to be a simple mailto command.
