Help needed in Loading external swf
Hello friends,
I am new to this forum..and i find this forum cool...Hope Gurus here will solve my problem easily. I am not newbie or expert in flash..i am in the mid stage. I created one flash website,Later i like to include one amination in my website which i found in one greeting card.I decompile that , and i got the animation alone.my problem is... my movie size is 700*700, but that animation swf movie is 1000*1000, so i cannot load in my flash movie.when i load, i couldnot see the animation.i like to reduce the animation swf into 700*700 or lesser than that.if i reduce directly...i couldnot see half of that animation. its frame by frame animation and i feel very hard to move each frame towards center. is there any possibilty to shrink..to reduce the movie size without lossing animation effects. please help me.. Thanx in advance Goodboy |

Re: Help needed in Loading external swf
look up and learn about FScommand functions. If that doesn't work simply convert your animation into a movie clip symbol and put it into a new scene within your site. once it is a symbol you will be able to use the freeform tool to resize it.

Re: Help needed in Loading external swf
This can be done via actionscript, i've done it before. Once the swf is loaded in the movieclip you then alter the width and height of the movieclip...
something like movieclip.width = 700 movieclip.width = 700 although it could be w.movieclip = 700 I can't exactly remember but i know it's possible. www.crewsfx.com affordable web design solutions for artists and small businesses |

Re: Help needed in Loading external swf
You can redirect from one movie to second.
Can do it in next way: 1. Open first movie from macromedia flash. 2. ....at last schene or some event which you choose like: click or Mouse over paste action to go at next html with 1000*1000 swf That's enought and simple i think Regards www.takedom.com |
