Newbie advice on webcam
Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but wanted to introduce myself and ask a question at the same time. I have NO web design experience and I used moonfruit.com and their software Sitemaker to build my site which is up and running. I wanted to link a webcam but sitemaker is FLASH only and doesn't allow HTML and I think I have to add a HTML tag to get the feed from the webcam....
I have another domain name hosted by another company and I was thinking if i designed a one page site in some program just showing the webcam and uploaded it via FTP - i think I can do that, I could link to it via my main site. I have a Mac and I don't know where to start. How hard is this to do, any help any ideas very much appreciated. Thanks Rob |

Re: Newbie advice on webcam
I don't have much experience working with webcams. But I know you can stream video in flash so I assume you could do the same with a webcam.
Try googling for: Using webcams with Flash. See what comes up.
