getting new window to work if files are on different servers

I have my swfs in one server. In another server I have the html container pages. I am not able to get the popups (which are on the same server as the container pages) to work at all. I am using new window javascript on my flash buttons.

An interesting note--if I just run the swf file w/o the container page the popups DO work.

Should I just can it and put everything together, or is there a work around for this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you also have the JS function defined on the html page?

Unfortunately I've never tried to store my .swfs on a different server than my .html pages.

I am curious, why do you have it set up this way?

Yep, I have the JS function defined on the html page. When I have the swfs on the same server, everything works fine.

I have the swfs on a different server because I can get better useage stats. The swfs are for an online course, and I'm very interested in the stats that particular server company can provide for me.
