Flash buttons

Attaching flash buttons to wewbsites.

When I attach my flash buttons to my wewbsite at work they work fine (IE 6)

but at home on (IE 7) and on firefox you have to click on the button first before it works and a white box appears around it first why is this.

Any help will be appreciated

Daniel

Re: Flash buttons

See this link to fix the problem. It is an object embedding issue in IE7.

Re: Flash buttons

Awesome!! There is a solution for this 'click and activate' on a html when embedding a flash movie .

I pretty much followed the instruction but can it still work, running off your own hard drive or does it have on be on a server in order for you to preview it?

Re: Flash buttons

It can run off your hard drive. It is just JS. So it should work both locally, and when placed on the server.
