Would it be possible to have MySQL interact with a Flash file?
If I wanted to use Flash to pull data from the database and then save information to the database, is that possible? If so, how? If this would be better put in a Macromedia Flash section or even if there is a URL or two with How Tos, I'd appreciate the redirect, too. |

Re: MySQL and Flash
Well, to answer your question, yes, it is possible to have flash pull data off a database and then store it.
I'll look around for some stuff that might help you. In the meantime, check out the flash resources sticky and search around on those links. |

Re: MySQL and Flash
Those stickies were very useful. There is material in there Im going to tinker with for some time.
Any new information on the MySQL bit? Would it have to pass information from Flash to PHP to MySQL, then back again? |
