scrolling panels

how do you create a scrolling panel that doesnt have like a beveled edge, so that the only reason you can tell its there is because of the scroll bar... if u understand that.... ?

thanks

ps. does it also have to link to an external .swf?

Are you referring to a Flash component?

I presume you meant components..

SO once you have added the component, go to Windows -> Library to show your library if it is not already there.

Then you should see an entry inside by the name of Flash UI components. Double click it. It should expand. Now doubleclick Component Skins and it should expand similarly. Then doubleclick FScrollBar Skins. It should expand bringing you a lot of movie clip, such as fsb_downArrow, fsb_thumb_bottom, etc. You can edit all of these to get the skin you want, like opening these movie clips and editing them.

By editing them, all of your scrollbars would have that appearance. Hope that helped.

Or better yet, just put a layer over it and color around it. That always seems to work for me.
