Pop up window link!

Hello!

I have a "Read More" button under a small amount of text. I would like a chromless window to pop up with the rest of the text in it or a photo when it is clicked.

Please could someone tell me how to do this or point me in the direction of some instructions!

Thanks very much for your time!

Welcome to the site!

Try something like this:

A quick search on google will show you alternatives.

However, bear in mind that this will only work in IE.

Hi Karl!
Thanks! Great to be here!

Sorry, I'm getting confused! I am competent at making normal HTML/CSS websites. This is my first attempt at Flash!

In my Flash website, when I click on the button to read more text is the best way to have a normal HTML page with the remainder of the text on it which opens in a new window or is there another way?

Sorry for being so stupid!

Within Flash you can do anything you want. You could make the additional text appear when you push the button by using the gotoAndStop(framenumber); command.

Opening new windows is generally frowned upon unless you need it to be outside of Flash.

Think of a way to represent the additional text in Flash. It could probably be done. You could make the text scroll, for example.
