'fail to open document' alert

Can anyone help me please. I'm getting an alert t message in flash, "fail to open document.' This happens everytime I attempt to open a specific project. This has happened to me before, but I forgot how I remedies the situation and now I have a client coming tomorrow and my back is against the wall. PLEASE, H E L P ! ! !
I tried copying it somewhere else and then opening it but the same message with the yellow exclaimation point and flash symbol....

Are you opening it with the right version of flash?

Yes... as a matter of fact, I had just created it (a website_complete). It was working fine, but then all of a sudden, it soptted opening and gave the message 'fail to open document'

Well, just as a...testing thing. Right click it, Choose open with--> choose flash.
See if that helps.

It is still giving me the same message and also in the ouput window, it's giving me losts of errors concerning a scrollbar error on various lines but I have nothing open and it won't open the project that I recently was working on.....

oh, Now i see your problem...I think.
You created a flash project? And that created a folder with all of the files in it? You may have moved those files from the project folder, and you would get that error if you try to open them through the project file.
