Question Mutiple images fade in and out

Hello everyone, i'm very new to useing flash mx. I bought myself a learn flash in 24 hours book but its not useful for what I want to do. I now want take multiple pictures at least 5 and make them fade in and out of each other, so I may be able to put it on a website. I'm looked at several tuturial online, but I can get the first image to fade in and out, but when i go to create the 2nd layer to do the second image, the images overlap each other in the movie. Anyway can some give me a easy step by step way to fade in and out the first image and and the second layer and fade in and out the second image without them overlapping each other. Thanks.

It seems like it is your timeline that is messing you up. Can you post up here the edit file, or a sample edit file and let me take a look at what you do have, and modify that to work for your needs?

Re: Mutiple images fade in and out

umm...from what I've gathered... Just put the next picture fade on the next layer...AFTER the first picture fade in/out...So, I would do this: Put the first fade in (lets say 10 frames) on the first layer, Then on another layer after the first ten frames, put the next picture fade in/out thing. Then just repeat... And yes, Like what JacobHaug said, put up a file.

Cool, that is what I thought it was, but figured it would be harder to explain, and be easier to fix the file...lol, but DiabolosX made it sound easy...lol
