Fade Out Option in sounds not working
For some odd reason the fade out option under 'sound' isn't working. any idea why this is or how I can fix it?
I don't know if it's not working with just this one .fla file or all of them. I guess I should check. But in meantime.. any thoughts?? Okay.. I fixed this problem, but I left the post here in case anyone else has this problem in the future: I just deleted the sound file from the library and imported another copy in. It worked, oddly enough. |

I believe fadeout has to be applied to a sound already playing? It's a little complicated...
Maybe it *would* be a better idea to load te sound from the library and mess around with the volume, etc, from Actionscript if you're trying to do this sort of stuff. Let me know if that would be more useful. |

It's really strange though because I've used the fade out option hundreds of times.. literally.. and it's always worked. But maybe the file became corrupted..? Deleting the file from the library then importing it again seemed to fix the problem. And yes, it was for a sound already being used (on the timeline).
