Font in Flash

Hi,

Im new to this forum so hello to everyone.
What i need to know is how do i add different fonts to flash is there a folder somewhere, where i download them to.

You can just drop the fonts in the Windows font directory and it will automatically install them for you. Then next time you start up flash the new fonts will be there. Assuming you are using a standard Windows XP machine, the folder would be loacted...C:\Windows\Fonts\

Jacob, Correct me if im wrong, but custom fonts from the creators computer cant be viewed unless the viewer of the page also has those fonts installed on his/her computer. Im not sure if this is True, though I remember something like this from flash 7 or 6, when i tested it between my 2 computers.

That is not correct you can embed fonts/charters within your flash output file. I have done this many times and have yet to experience any problems with it...or you could break the font apart, and it would work.

Breaking the font apart would probably be the best way, as far as file size goes.
