To Be Honest with you, the best tutorials there are are inside the program itself. It will teach you everything you need to know, from the basics to the most advanced things in the program. It's very usefull, and very informative. It even has an ActionScript DIctionary that shows you examples of each actionscript code being used and tells you what it is used for. That's the best way to go.

The actionscript Dictionary can be a little confusing, but the best way to learn about the functions is simply to play with them and see how they react. If you're really confused then ask here and I'm sure that we will be able to help.

As for basic flash tutorials, the ones in the program are good, but they don't go far. That's good if you like to play around with the program. If, however, you want to learn something they do not cover, there are some good sites out there to look at, such as Flashkit and Actionscript.org.

At the welcome screen you will see "Take a flash lesson" towards the bottom.

You can also find some on the Macromedia website: http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/flash/
