OsCommerce Phobia

Hi,

I've settled on using wordpress fro some of my website development work. I like and it vaildates nicely and skins easily etc etc. However I have a few customers who want to add ECommerce functionality to their sites.

If built a good site using OsCommerce for a client and they are really pleased with it but I hate the way that it takes an age to skin and make changes etc (just me can't wire into it) - so is there a script or solution other than PayPal buttons where I can integrate a simple shopping cart system into an Wordpress Site, really I don't mind where the shopping basket sits on the site or off the site. Or is this something that I would need to get coded?

I would use the oscoommy if your going to do anything with money. And then intergrate it with your wordpress or use the content systems for oscommy. When you are messing with money its best to use something writen for it.

Iv used zencart in the past. Just change the css to get it lookin the way you want.

go for osCMax

its basically osCommerce just alot easier to edit. You can made the site look sompletely differnt by editing 2 files rather than all of them, this is because it uses a templating system, ive just used it for a site im setting up for someone. (www.tyrefinders.co.uk) all we did was change 2 files and added the new logos and image files and the whole site is changed.
