How much can you make from AdSense?

I've been searching around but I can't find any concrete information - just speculation.

Can someone with experience in the field give me some idea of traffic/revenue ratios?

It depends on a lot of factors, but I was generally getting a dollar for every 1,000 visitors. But my ads were placed well. WF isn't so lucky, I think it's averaging 5 dollars a day with 100,000+ visitors.

Ok, if yu have some stats (and you don't mind sharing), what's the average price 'per click' you're getting? (pm if you don't mind sharing but don't want the world to know)...

Have a look at the alternatives. There are a couple and from what I've seen people seem to make more money from them, proportionally speaking.

for instance if you link to coral (betting shop) then the types of commision you can earn are:

Tier 1 - General/Bronze: 0-59 sign ups - £10 per account and 2% turnover
Tier 2 - Silver: 60 -99 sign ups - £15 per account and 2% turnover
Tier 3 - Gold: 100+ sign ups - £20 per account and 2% turnover

For Avis (car rental) for every reservation made via your referal you can earn:
0 - 19 reservations per month = £5 per reservation
20+ reservations per month = £7.50 per reservation

Try these two. You would be best using them both as chitika works slightly differently than most and clicksor is probably the number one alternative to Adsense.

As for stats, my average was 20 cents per click, but I had a few that got me 5 bucks

I wonder if I have any screenshots of my old site. It was a on a .no domain so the Way Back Machine won't have anything on it. I'll take a look to see if I can find it. My ads were in a side bar, and they were 200x200 or something rectangle. The colors matched my site perfectly too, so I think people actually looked at them instead of just ignoring them like I do when I see something that looks like ads out of the corner of my eye.
