anyone familiar with Joomla?

hey I am not sure where to post this question so I will try

I have spent much time researching and have had no luck on information regarding changing some things on a website administered by joomla.

I am a member of this church who is trying to figure out how to change some things including the background images. If there is a way to input some code with Joomla that would be great or to change anyway.

Any help with this would be great

joomla's styles and fonts etc are controled by css, you will need to do a little more research into css if you want to change anything like that - if you want more in-debth answers, you could ask here http://forum.joomla.org/ as they will have a better idea of the roots.
