Best Dating Website Software Package?

Hi everyone,

Im interested in starting a dating website and i just wanted to know if anyone knew about any good stable existing dating website software packages that can be used?

I have seen a product myself ABLEDATING.NET which seems to have everything and a host of features but i dont know much about the product or the company behind it? Has anyone heard of this product? Or the company behind it? Or does anyone have any recommendations about a dating website software package that i can use?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Download.com has reviews. Most of the general software sites like download, cnet have client reviews of the software. Otherwise you just have to search the web until you find software reviews of dating sites. Another way to go is look at the individual softwares and then do searched under the softwares name for reviews.

You have been very helpful! I am new to all of this and would like to start a dating website. To have one custom built seems to be very expensive and so im hoping to use an existing off the shelf dating website software package and have it customised (the graphics and layout) so that it looks unique but has all the typical features of a dating website. So its a bit of a minefield looking at all the different types of dating website software but your advice has made things easier and i will be doing some research before deciding which product to buy.

This Dolphin would have to be THE WORST piece of software EVER written.
On the rare occasion when it works, give it 10 mins and something will go wrong … if editing the source be sure not to touch the language file, otherwise one false move in the admin section and it resets to the original file.

Their support is horrible. They ignores my support tickets in the member area and bugs reports/critics in their forum are deleted very fast.

Its impossible to know which dating website software package to use. Have you both had any good experiences with dating software packages? And if so which ones?

As for me, I got the AbleDating script two days ago and today I got it up and running with the help of the technical support staff. They installed the community software for me in just a few minutes and set it up for me.
Handshakes Professional V3.3 - Great script, but the company is run like a frat-house. It's great for the here and now, but I'm concerned about long-term simply because they encrypt portions of the code, and I'm not very confident they'll be here in a year.
