Help with Dream Weaver MX

Hi,

Any help would be hugely appreciated on this- I'm sure the answer is really simple!

The guy who edits our company website has gone away for three weeks leaving me in charge! The site is in Dreamweaver MX and he showed me how to make simple changes.

When I open Dreamweaver and go to 'Connect to remote host' on the site I want to edit, it says it is connected to the site and then a dialog box comes up saying 'waiting for server...' then after a minute or so, it seems to time out and says connection to the site is lost. I don't understand it and have logged onto the server that shows no problems.

Any ideas as to why I can't access my site would be greatly appreciated!

There are several reasons for why you can't access your site. But in order to diagnose this your going to have to give me your connecting information. Please PM these to me and DO NOT POST THEM else it will be visible to all, and while no one here would do anything to mess up your site a passerby might. So let me see what we got, if you don't have the information then there is nothing we can really do.
