Access

hey all,so heres the thing, im pretty good at html, css and javascript.i started out on PHP a couple weeks ago and am enjoying learning it.but thats not the point, i have heard from a couple different places that it is possible to make databases in access and use them in websites, this intrigued me and i want to find out more.It isn't so much making the database but using it in the website that i am looking to find.Any help would be much appreciatedCheers guys

Are you sure you want to use an Access database? There is a lot more help and more tools out there for using PHP with MySQL (and it's free).

If you want to stick with Access, here's some info. on how to connect to it:

I originally wanted to use MySQL but i couldnt find any good tutorials
and i had a lot of trouble trying to get it

The beauty of using access is that it is standalone... it wont require server software to be installed such as is needed by mySQL or SQLServer...
