Postcode CSV
SORRY IF I HAVE PUT THIS IS THE WRONG THREAD BUT I COULDNT SEE ANYWHERE TO ADD MY QUESTION AND IM NEW
Can any one help? I am looking for a file that has all the UK postcodes and addresses. I need to place this in a dtabase that we already have. Im looking for my system to be be able to allow some one to type in the postcode then it will auto fill the fields with the correct address. Can anyone tell me where i could get a csv file with all the data with the post codes and addresses Thanks |

not sure about the legality of it.... but if im right programms such as Autoroute & Routeplanner use a csv file to store the post code information.

Upload said CSV file to your MySQL Database (After making sure you set up a table with the same structure) and that is the easiest way.

The information you want to use is licenced by the Post Office.
