CSS Slide Out Menu, Border??

Heres the test page Ive made to get it to work first, http://www.pacificexpos.com/navigationmenu.html

The menu is for the first 4 links. When you hover over, I want there to be a border only around the sub list. when I put the border in my code for the sub list it makes the border not only all the way around but in between each link. I only want it around the sub list. I tried border-bottom-color: blah blah blah.. for eachone and it dont work. How can I do that? the targets arent set for the sub links im just trying to get the menu to work first.

Also how can I change the font? Right now it looks as if its just default..? thanks

Can't help you much there pal. I think the problem you're having though (Taking a lot on assumption) is that you're applying a border to <li> or <ul> and this is putting a border around each item.
