Divs "lagging" as page scrolls

Hi,

This is my first post and its kinda hard to describe the nature of the problem since i haven't any solution for this on the web (maybe i didn't know what to search for)
Okie, so its about two divs placed beside each other (say one float left and one right). When i scroll the page down/up, the divs move slower than the scroll speed which gives a sort of lag or delay effect when you view the page.

Just take a look at the following link for an illustrative example (although in this case its an iframe and is seen in firefox. IE probably doesnt show this):
http://www.mediamelon.com/MediaMelon...etailsFor=1568

Is there a way to stop this "lag" ?

TIA

Re: Divs "lagging" as page scrolls

it's probably the video, as it seems to be reloading everytime the page scrolls. this is probably to do with the iframe, as it is pulling in another fully rendered html page.

you are also pulling in a load of JS files, you are thowing up 50 errors which isn't helping

Ignore that page...that was just to show what i mean by "lagging". I have seen this with two divs...Damn! i wish i could show you what i mean exactly

But the css was something like this:
Code: Select all
.div1{   }
.div1a { float:left; ....}
.div1b {float:right; .... }
and html:

Code: Select all
<div class="div1">
      <div class="div1a">small square image</div>
      <div class="div1b"> a paragraph on the side</div>
</div>
divs 1a and 1b would move out of sync upon page scroll.
I hope someone has seen something like it. I'll try to reproduce what i saw.
