CSS bugs in IE 6 and 7

I'm making a website for my web design company. There's a few bugs in IE 6 and 7 though. In 6, the shadows on the side aren't even there. In 7, they only extend until the end of the visible page, if you scroll down they end. Why? And how can I fix this?

Here's the site: http://dev.otherroaddesign.com/drafting/v1/ The username is dev and the password is webforumz.

Re: CSS bugs in IE 6 and 7

Hi

You havent put your images in <divs> at the bottom of your code.

Ive done border right and border left in the code below.

Hopefully that might cure it in ie6 and 7.

HTML: Select all
<div id="body_left_border"><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/left.gif" alt="" id="body_left_border" /></div><div id="body_right_border"><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/right.gif" alt="" id="body_right_border" /></div><div id="body_whiteout">&nbsp;</div><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/bottom.gif" alt="" id="body_bottom_border" /><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/bottom_right.gif" alt="" id="body_bottom_right_corner" /><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/bottom_left.gif" alt="" id="body_bottom_left_corner" /><img src="http://www.webforumz.com/images/home_selected.gif" alt="Home" id="body_tab" /></div>
Cheers

Pat

This seems to cure ie7 but not 6

Re: CSS bugs in IE 6 and 7

I don't see why the images need to be in divs.

I've had this type of error happen to me before in IE7. It's a bug in IE7, where height: 100% is only as tall as the viewport.

It seems like a common bug, somebody must have a fix for it.
