Javascript. Looks like they've used prototype and scriptaculous. Check out their source code too.

Check out the scriptaculous site! They've got all the documentation you should need.

You can't just expect people to do things for you.
aso186 went through the trouble of finding exactly what you need to do it.

The authors of the script went through the trouble of documenting everything, explaining how it works, how you can use it and even built samples for you to try out.

Have you read any of it? Have you tried it out? Have you run into trouble? What have you done so far?
The effect you're trying to achieve isn't easy - if you have never done this before, perhaps you should start with something a little easier...

Yeah... It's too complex tho..
Why don't you google for DHTML Image Scroller or Javascript Image Scroller or something like that... I found a lot of interesting tutorial on that!
It's too complex as I said before ^ so I don't spent a lot of time in that page LOL

If you have flash you could just use that.. MUCH less complex than this. But Some people don't like flash so its up to ya.

But you see, this is one of those cases where flash would be acceptable if you don't care about SEO and SEs indexing your images.
(Shhh.... Don't tell the other guys I said that)
