Chaning text colour in lightbox

Hi,

I'm using Lightbox however I want to change the colour of the person's name in the title.

The actual coding is:

HTML: Select all

<div id="thumbnailboxes7"> 
<div class="thumbnailboxes"> <a href="commission.jpg" rel="lightbox[sculpture]" title="John Smith: Large Vase, 2006<br/>Yew - 75 x 15 x 10 cm<br/>Client: Headteacher of School"><img src="commissionthumb.jpg" width="75" height="75" alt= "large vase in yew" title="Large Vase"/></a></div>

I thought I could just insert a div ie

HTML: Select all

<div id="thumbnailboxes7"> 
<div class="thumbnailboxes"> <a href="commission.jpg" rel="lightbox[sculpture]" title="<div id="redtext">John Smith:</div> Large Vase, 2006<br/>Yew - 75 x 15 x 10 cm<br/>Client: Headteacher of School"><img src="commissionthumb.jpg" width="75" height="75" alt= "large vase in yew" title="Large Vase"/></a></div>

And then add to my CSS:

#redtext { color: red; }

But this doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know why and how I can get around this?
