[SOLVED] How to get my footer to stretch
Hi Guys n Girls
Iam currently building my portfolio for online and i have come to my footer. My footer has a background color of a beige and i want it to stretch the whole width of the browser whatever size browser the person visiting my site is using. I thought this was width: 100% but it doesn't seem to work. The footer is in the body tag which has a set width of 850px, as i want to website to be 850px wide, and the footer but i want the background color of the footer to expand across the size of the browser whether it be 1450px wide or 1024px wide. How can i do this? Many thanks Gav Last edited by karinne; Dec 17th, 2007 at 14:28. Reason: Removed text formatting |
