VERY URGENT how to style a select tag

i am using a select tag and as per the property of a select tag it displays the border on the top, bottom, left and right.

my question is using css how can these borders on all the 4 sides be removed.
please provide the complete code to remove the borders displayed by the select tag using css.

Can you post the code of your select tag? I have no idea what you are talking about.

I'll have a go. From your post I understood that you want to remove the border. Easy enough:
CSS:

Code: Select all

#noborders {
border: none;
}

HTML:

HTML: Select all

<select id="noborders">
<option>1</option>
<option>2</option>
<option>3</option>
</select>

This will remove the border around the box. If you mean the border on the dropdown part, then I must disappoint you; it's not possible.
