[SOLVED] Problem Validating CSS.

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem getting my css to validate. I know what the problem is, I jsut don't know HOW to fix it...

The problem is

Code: Select all

 filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient(GradientType=0,StartColorStr='#004287',EndColorStr='#FFFFFF');
 margin: 0px auto;

HTML: Select all

body {
 background-color: #ffffff;
 filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient(GradientType=0,StartColorStr='#004287',EndColorStr='#FFFFFF');
 margin: 0px auto;
}

How else can i do it WITHOUT having a gradient image.

I think that the Gradient only works on IE browser, not FF!
What browser you are using?

No, unless you use some ridiculous javascript that generates insane numbers of <div>s.

Why not use an image?

yeah, I forgot about the IE conditional things but isn't Gradient Filter works on => IE5?

Why do you use it on the first hand?
You looks good with Photoshop looking at your logo submission

Then you didn't get the image/CSS right. Try again.

I mean, the gradient filter, why do you want to use it? Could you just take the image and "photoshop" it!
