big white gap in form

Hi

was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this annoying problem.
ive got a massive white space in my login form. heres the css code for the login form:

Ive found out that the navigation menu to the left is causing the problem because when i delete the nav menu the gap disapears in the login form!!? heres the css code for the navbox:

any help on this would be greatly appreciated because ive been pulling out my hair. thanks again

Your problem is here:

}

The "width" attribute....

thanks for the reply. what is exactly the problem with that attribute ive tried altering it and deleting it and it has had no effect.

Something seems to have worked. I just looked and the white space is gone....
