[SOLVED] Link Color and problem with Image positioning!

Hi Guys another problem here.

I have edited my CSS and changed the link colors to the color of the title on the top two posts.

What I can't understand is that the rest of the post titles are just the normal blue, which looks wrong in my opinion. Why is this happening?

Also the image on the right about inside scoop, why is it not positioned correctly, I edited it to change a link color, and then it just moved, and why are there now bullet points in the sidebar.

Could you just speak to someone with basic CSS knowledge as I DON'T understand all this talk!

It's becuase you are using an unordered list (probably without any styling)

Here is a snippet of the code I use for my vertical menu

The bit that hides the bullet points is list-style-position: outside;

You are talking to someone who doesn't have a clue about CSS, (I'm trained in html and graphic design) so could you tell me which problem we are addressing, and exactly what I should be doing, as I'll surely get it wrong.

You need to speak in plain English for me, I know it's annoying but it's a pointless post otherwise!!

I had a quick look at your code by viewing the source and I can't seem yo make sense of your html. It seems that you are using a <li> without opening an <ul> first.

I don't knwo if it would help you, but why don't you create a div class with a set width (but NOT height), background color etc so you can call that class instead of using a list?

Here is an example of a div slass I use in my site. There is no height property so it can expand with the content and I call it again and again but using <div class="news">

					<p>First of all, I just confirm that UnlockThatiPhone.com is completely legitimate (they use iPhoneSimFree and anySIM) AND that anySIM actually unlocks, despite the fact that it gives an error message at the end. But first you see the unlocking process and then I’ll show you me making a call on my iPhone with a Vodafone Ireland sim card. In the contrary to what’s been reported is that anySIM takes 12 minutes, and not the 2-4 that was reported, although it works.</p>
<p>A full video is coming tomorrow, that shows the Irish Sim not working before the unlock (you can see in the top left hand corner) and that it works after the unlock, with no cuts, just the full 13 minute I think, video with a short thing afterwards showing a call on the iPhone with an Irish Vodafone sim.</p>

You seem to have your </head> after the start of the body <body>. Seems slightly strange. I have found the code around the 'Inside Scoop' image. It's not that great:

You have the image in a <ul> without any <li> in there! Try putting the image in a <li> and try then styling it like AdRock suggested.

You could really replace the <ul> with divs and it would make it much easier to read....i'll have another look today (was realy tired last night)
