IE keeping space of emty divs
Hi!
I have a layout with many divs/panes. It is working fine. The problem starts, only with IE , when I'm not using all the divs. IE keeps some empty space of empty divs. This is the full page layout: http://www.nukenotes.com/tabid/1110/Default.aspx and here you can see some examples for the problem I'm talking about: http://www.nukenotes.com/tabid/1113/Default.aspx http://www.nukenotes.com/tabid/1112/Default.aspx Any Idea of what I can do? (with one xhtml file only) Thanks. |

Re: IE keeping space of emty divs
can you not just put *{margin:0; padding:0;} in the top of your CSS.
Sorry i dont have time to properly look at it. |

Re: IE keeping space of emty divs
Can you delete the empty divs?
If they are empty I don't see why you would want them on there.. |

Re: IE keeping space of emty divs
Hi Lchad, they are there for letting the user chose a different layout he prefers in any different page. Like you can see in the demo. Thanks.

Re: IE keeping space of emty divs
What version of IE are you having a problem in?
I looked at FF2 and IE 7 and saw no difference. |
