Hi, i have a bit of a problem, im trying to use css to make a site and keep it table free so im using divs to position everything, ive tried to keep it IE/firefox compliant but im finding in firefox when i increase the text size the divs start to overlap and i end up with a mess. Is there something i can add to enable the divs to expand if theres overflow and the divs below them to move down (ive got all the divs floating)

What I would suggest is to have the divs underneath and the one that stretches inside one div, and only have the container floating. That way, the div underneath will move automatically as the content expands.

If you don't mind the right div moving down, sure, you should be able to use position:relative, which will keep the boxes in the html flow, to bump a non-fitting box. Where it will end up is anyone's guess, LOL. Or try making the center division a % width.

Fitting together a site that is full cross-browser compliant, using only div's, is hard and extremely fragile.

If you're doing this as a project, general help would take ten pages. If you're trying to get a page online, you might use one frame on the page, which makes it a lot easier.
