printing style sheets to provide A5 size printouts without making content smaller
Hello
Does anyone know of a way to use printing style sheets to print out web pages on A5 paper size without making the text and content of the page smaller? something like reflowing the page to create A5 pages and not the usual A4/Letter size paper by keeping all the content in the original size and pushing the "excess" to be printed on the next page. I'm not sure if this is controled by css, but when I attempt to print out say, an 'a list apart' article, the page comes out with the same amount of content as if it were an A4 page- thus all the content is resized to a very small font... Any help or pointers (if this is in fact not a css issue..) are Greatly appreciated! all the best Paul |

You have very limited control over what gets printed. It all depends on the client's printer & settings. I'd recommend you stay clear of the idea and consider other options...

yeah, the purpose of a print style sheet is to strip out non essential graphics etc just delivering the content and things such as making links black and underlined, stripping out navigation elements etc etc. However you can control the font, margins, padding, and what does/does not get displayed.
