Jagged type above 12pt
On some sites, I have noticed that some css text has a nasty jagged look.
I appreciate this happens about 12pt but are there some fonts that work better at a bigger size? Is there a trick to 'smooth' fonts? |

AFAIK this is simply a client display problem and not something you can overcome. Windows XP does indeed include font smoothing, but it works best on TFT monitors and can look terrible on CRTs.
So basically, it's outside of your control. If you want large, smooth fonts then you'll have to use an image. |
